How does a transaction work?

Once an order is successfully placed onto the Skipbin.com website, you will be emailed an invoice immediately. 

Your invoice will hold crucial supplier information,  this will reveal the skip bin rental company delivering your skip bin rental, and their contact information if you need to get in contact with this company for any reason.

This invoice is a proof of payment, and can be used to provide reference to the transaction if/when the skip bin rental company requests. This invoice is also your method of keeping track of the transaction for tax purposes.

You can book a skip bin rental 30 days in advance, and will need to adhere to our cancellation and refund policy below if for any reason you wish not to continue with your booking, prior to the delivery date you have scheduled during checkout. 

If you wish make additional bookings onto an existing booking, please contact us prior to the delivery date, so we can also revise your invoice, and organise this for a smooth transaction. 

How long can I Rent a Skip Bin?

Skip Bin rental times can vary depending on the supplier. The most popular rental time frame is within 24 hours, where the supplier will deliver a skip bin, and pick-up within a 24 hour period, most suppliers do have a 3-5 day rental period included in the quoted price and for longer timeframes will require an additional rental fee often between $10-15 per day. 

If you require a Skip Bin to be picked up prior or after to the date selected in the checkout at Skipbin.com there is no guarantee that it can be picked up prior, or after the date booked as this is up to the discretion of the supplier. Your invoice will hold your suppliers contact information, of which you can contact them directly to discuss any arrangements to the alter of the delivery/pick-up dates, alternatively you can contact us if you have any problems doing so.

Your Rights as under the Australian Consumer Law (ACCC)

Skipbin.com is an Australian Company, that is required to follow the policy and procedures for refunds, warranties, and resolutions for any problems as a result of your transaction with Skipbin.com under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Our Refund, Cancellation Policy, and Privacy Policy does include elements under the ACL, and will work with yourself (consumer) and the supplier to find a resolution of transactions that fall under your rights as a consumer within the ACL.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Skipbin.com is committed to providing our customers with a high level of after sale services. We believe it is our duty as third party agents to provide our customers with the best quality of service available at the most competitive prices.

Full refunds will be issued:

Booking fee not included.

You will be entitled to a full refund (excluding the booking fee) if you, the customer, cancel your order by contacting Skipbin.com no less than 3 days prior to delivery, either via email contact@skipbin.com or by phoning 0459990506

You will also be entitled to a full refund (excluding booking fee), in the unlikely event of a non-delivery of your bin. This does not include preferred delivery times within that day, ONLY NON-DELIVERY. Should the service provider reschedule the delivery or a collection of the bin than the above is null and void

Partial refunds will be issued:

You will be entitled to a partial refund in the event an order is cancelled by you, the customer, no less than two (2) business days prior to the Delivery Date. The cancellation fee will be 10% of the charged amount and payable to Skipbin.com

You will also be entitled to a partial refund, in the event an order is cancelled by you, the customer, (1) Business Day prior to the Delivery Date or on the Delivery Date. The cancellation fee will be 30% of the charged amount and payable to Skipbin.com Cancellations on the delivery date will also incur a call-out fee directly to the service provider, which varies depending on supplier. 

Non-refundable

The booking fee is non-refundable. 

Refund Account

Refunds will ONLY be made payable to the credit card on which the original purchase was made. Refunds will be made within 3 business days from the date of cancellation.
